Rush Pi Kapp, the top fraternity at West Chester University!

Pi Kappa Phi is a national fraternity that began in Charleston, South Carolina in 1904. Today there are many diverse chapters across the country. West Chester, Zeta Nu Chapter, was started in 1989 and has been very strong since the beginning. There are over 55 brothers on this campus, and the house is located at 626 S. High Street. There are many campus and community events held by the brothers of Pi Kapp. Pi Kappachino is held at 626 S. High Street, the well known "Pi Kapp" house,  during finals week.  On the front porch of their house, the fraternity provides coffee for students cramming for finals.

The PUSH America PUSH-a-thon is held out front in the lawn of the purple gym, and it involves brothers hanging outside for 24 hours raising money and awareness for people with disabilities. During rush week in fall 2009, a 3 on 3-basketball tournament was held so people could come compete for a cash prize while also meeting some of the brothers. Pi Kapp holds the biggest campus service event of the year, called "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" and it raises money to prevent domestic violence.  Leaders of the university and people from across campus participate in a walk around West Chester wearing high heels. This provides many laughs, but it also supports a great cause. In the future, Pi Kappa Phi WCU will always be involved in the community by creating events like these.
