Many brothers of Pi Kappa Phi love competition, and played sports throughout their life. The fraternity is a great way to stay active, and stay competitive. The sports offered by IFC in the past year were Basketball, Flag Football, Dodge ball, Soccer, Softball, Volleyball, and Floor Hockey. A student must have a 4.75 (Most Recent Semester + Cumulative GPA) to play sports for their fraternity. This factor motivates alot of fraternity men to do good in the classroom. "Individual commitment to a group effort - that is what makes a team work."

West Chester's IFC (Inter Fraternity Council) gives out the "IFC Cup" each year. This award goes to the fraternity who scores the most IFC points throughout the calendar year. A first place finish will get more points than second place finish, and a second more than a third, etc. This is an important and meaningful award because it takes a full year and numerous games in every sport to declare a winner. In 2009 Pi Kapp prevailed and tied with Sigma Pi as IFC Cup Champions! With many of their top athletes returning, Pi Kapp is the favorite to win the cup again in 2010...
